1500 vs 1600: similar capacity, different data-entry and weight-placement features
The 1500 and 1600 share the same broad published wheel envelope in the current published specifications: 8–30 inch rim diameter, 2–20 inch rim width, 44-inch maximum tire diameter and 160-pound maximum wheel weight. That makes a capacity-only comparison misleading.
The 1600 is the more automated, technician-friendly step-up. E900 adds diagnostics rather than just another display
The E900 is the current Coats diagnostic path. It retains the 8–30 inch rim, 2–20 inch width, 44-inch maximum tire diameter and 160-pound weight envelope, but adds a diagnostic roller and ProMatch process intended to identify tire/wheel shape-related vibration issues before the assembly goes back on the vehicle.
That makes E900 a better fit when a shop wants to sell a deeper vibration-diagnostic service. If the work is primarily conventional balancing, the 1500 or 1600 may provide the needed capacity without paying for a diagnostic capability that is rarely used.
6450 is the heavy-duty fork in the road
The 6450 3D changes the scale of the decision. Coats publishes a 500-pound maximum tire/wheel weight, 52-inch maximum tire diameter and a kit that includes the 575 wheel lift plus heavy-duty truck centering hardware. It also uses dual calibration software for passenger and heavy-duty work.
