Motorcycle mode and motorcycle hardware solve different parts of the setup
A software balance mode tells the machine how to calculate or place correction weights. It does not physically mount the motorcycle wheel. Weaver's current large motorcycle shaft kit for its 40 mm balancers publishes its own cone-size range and is intended for specific model families. That illustrates a broader rule: the accessory can become the limiting component even when the base machine has a very broad passenger-car wheel range.
For that reason, enter a center-hole measurement in the Fit Checker when you know it, but still open the manufacturer adapter source before use. The checker can compare a published standard cone range; it cannot assume a specialty kit covers an unlisted motorcycle hub.

Searches for “motorcycle wheel balancer” can refer to both manual static stands and powered computerized shop machines.
