The changer and balancer are the largest decisions, but a workable service bay also needs the tools and consumables that connect the process. Depending on the services offered, that can include wheel weights and weight-installation tools, valve-core and valve-stem tools, TPMS service tools, tire lubricant, bead seating/inflation equipment, rim-protection consumables, centering cones or collets, motorcycle or truck adapters, torque tools and safe vehicle lifting equipment.
Those items should follow the exact machines and services rather than being bought as a generic accessory bundle. A cone set that fits one balancer shaft does not automatically fit another; a motorcycle clamp adapter can change the usable range of a tire changer; and a wheel lift may be built in, optional or unnecessary depending on wheel weight.
